What's up! I'm Mike, the guy behind the mic at Saints in the Pit.

I've always had a love for heavy music. Pop punk, metalcore, hardcore, and everything in between. There's just something about loud guitars, breakdowns, and music that makes you want to jump into a pit.

But there's something I love even more, and that's Jesus.

And honestly, I don't think those two things have to be separate.

HOW IT ALL STARTED

Saints in the Pit started with a pretty simple idea: What if we created a place where Christian artists could share more than just their music?

Don't get me wrong, I love hearing about new albums, tours, and what happens behind the scenes. But I also want to know the people behind the songs.

What's God doing in their lives? What struggles have they walked through? How has their faith shaped their music? And how are they using the gifts God gave them to make an impact?

Because sometimes the most powerful part of a song isn't just what you hear. It's the story behind it.

MORE THAN JUST A MUSIC PODCAST

Saints in the Pit is about bringing together faith, music, and community.

It's about giving artists a place to be real. To talk about the good, the bad, the struggles, the victories, and everything in between.

I believe God can use music in some pretty incredible ways. And just because a song has screaming vocals, distorted guitars, or a massive breakdown doesn't mean God can't use it to reach somebody.

Not every song has to be a worship song to point someone toward Jesus.

And that's something I want this podcast to celebrate.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Outside of Saints in the Pit, I'm a husband, dad, creative, and the guy behind Eremos Productions.

I've spent years working in video production, photography, and church ministry, and I've always had a passion for telling stories that matter.

Saints in the Pit is where a lot of those passions come together.

I get to talk with musicians, discover incredible music, hear what God is doing in people's lives, and hopefully introduce someone to an artist they might never have discovered otherwise.

And if those conversations encourage somebody in their faith or help them see Jesus in a new way, that's what makes it all worth it.
